Meet Our Leadership Team
Capt. Travis Dunn
General Manager
Capt. Travis Dunn’s connection to the marine industry began at an early age, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. By the age of 10, he was already spending time aboard Rivtow tugs, developing an early appreciation for the industry that would shape his career.
Travis began working on the water as a deckhand before progressing to master and taking on increasingly senior roles across the marine towing industry. His experience spans vessel operations, logging and barge towing, dispatch, and operational management, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the industry from both the wheelhouse and the office.
Today, Travis serves as General Manager for sister companies Gravity and Catherwood Towing, bringing decades of industry experience, practical marine knowledge, and a lifelong passion for the business to his leadership roles. His hands-on background and broad industry perspective help guide operations while supporting the people and traditions that keep the marine towing industry moving.
